Fried Green Plantain Chips

Ingredients

  • 2 large green plantains

  • vegetable oil

  • salt

Make

  1. Peel plantains and slice into thin rounds
  2. Fill large skillet with enough vegetable oil to cover the chips, ~1/2 inch
  3. Fry plantains in hot oil (over med to med-high heat), turning occasionally
  4. Drain on rack or paper towel and sprinkle with salt
