Buckeyes

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

  • 18 oz peanut butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 1 lb powdered sugar

  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 1 oz paraffin wax

Make

  1. Cream together butter, peanut butter, and vanilla
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar
  3. Roll into balls, set on cookie sheets on wax paper, and chill
  4. In double boiler (or heavy bottom pan), melt chocolate and wax
  5. Dip balls in chocolate using a toothpick, set on wax paper and chill
